Bay Area radio listeners will hear a familiar voice in the afternoon slot when Mia Amor begins hosting on 102.9 KBLX. Connoisseur Media selected Amor to take over the position as the station continues shifting its daily programming.
Why it matters
The change follows the station's recent decision to move Big Reid into the morning slot last month. Listeners across the region will now see a new permanent fixture in the afternoon rotation starting later this month.
Amor brings 8 years of experience from the Sacramento market, including a five-year run at KSFM from 2018 to 2023, to her new role in San Francisco.
